Wilson Airless Gen1 Basketball with Hexagonal Holes That Allow Air To Pass Through Freely

In 2023, Wilson released a 3D-printed airless basketball. This year, Willson has officially released the Airless Gen1 Basketball, which rather than being inflated, that 3D-printed polymer lattice structure replicates bounce, flight, and feel of a traditional basketball. The shape of the ball features 8-panel like lobes and a familiar seam structure, yet those Hexagonal holes across surface allow for air to pass through freely.

At first sight, it looks similar just like its prototype. Yet the new perforated channels and refined lattice are some updates that push the leap from prototype to final product.
