Rivian just unveiled its new SUV series: Rivian R2 and R3. Rivian R2 is all-new midsize SUV that provides user with a combination of performance, utility, and capability through it’s a five-seat package optimized for everyday use and big adventures. At first sight, the silhouette and face of R2 are distinctly Rivian. At the rear, that powered rear glass drops into the liftgate for carrying all types of gear that you need on your adventures, at the same time, it also allows for a unique open air driving experience.
Inside R2, everything is designed for ease-of-use but you can still tell it’s Rivian style through that inviting and premium design, sustainable materials which are easy to clean. The first and second row of seating can fold completely flat that allows you to carry multiple gear and cargo.
Meanwhile, Rivian R3 is a midsize crossover with compact body yet it doesn’t sacrifice its performance. It promises great off-road capability, passenger comfort, and spacious storage. Another upgraded version of this model is R3X, it offers more dynamic abilities both on and off road. The design interior of R3 is inviting, it demonstrates the scalability of Rivian’s brand across different form factors yet still immediately recognizable.
Both R2 and R2 feature two battery sizes, the larger pack will achieve over 300 miles of range on a single charge and deliver 0-60mph acceleration in less than 3 seconds. It provides you with the quickest powertrain configuration.
