Beast Grooming : Modern Men’s Facial Grooming Set for Alpha Male Market

Beast grooming is a futuristic men’s facial grooming set designed to appeal to the alpha male market. We incorporated modern minimal aesthetics while maintaining the feel of traditional tools from the days of old school shaving. Sharp angles mixed with natural forms create a synonymous series that are equally comfortable to hold and beautiful to look at.

The beard trimmer is a hefty, solid piece with a knurled knob for adjustment and a fully recessed beard guard that lies perfectly flush when closed. Its design was inspired by the form of a rams horn, one of the most innately masculine objects in the natural world. The razor is a cross between a modern razor and a traditional one, allowing you to control the flow of your shave by the firmness of your grip on the handle.

Tram Design for Klaipeda by Andre Divejev

This tram has been designed to answer the challenge of designing modern and appealing transportation for Klaipeda. This public transportation must reflect the city’s cozy and harbor style, introducing a new key element into its appearance while allowing the city to get its deserved attention from tourists and social communities.

Lithuania’s city of Klaipėda is situated on a fine coast of the Baltic sea adjoining cozy, well preserved pine forests. All year round it’s caressed by chilly winds and salty scents, coming from the vast spaces of the sea. Before the second World War, it had carried the name of Memel and belonged to Germany, therefore has retained many of the architectural elements that speak of its foreign past. The rigor of German aesthetical language is still clearly recognizable in the urban environment and in some places forms its unique and somewhat Nordic character, making the city refined and noble.

Hence, it is a favorable environment for adding tram line and raising the social and touristic appeal of the city, as well as improving the economic development of adjoining recreational communities by bringing them into one major transport ecosystem.

Ultrasonic Design: Making Smartphones Thinner

In the modern world, smaller is better, and that is why hi-tech devices such as mobile phones and tablets are becoming smaller by the day but more efficient. The biggest challenge that most designers are experiencing is integrating functionality into a slimmer packaging. Such work is not possible without the ultrasonic welding technology. When you design a product, you have to constantly looking for ways to make your design more efficient, correct? This includes creative thinking about weld deposition efficiency, by reducing the number of welds, you can create a more optimized design.

Today, most ultrasonic welding companies provide a broad range of devices that enable the manufacturers and designers to work in confined spaces and achieve high accuracy and efficiency levels in their work. In the manufacture of smartphones, welding is inevitable; Manufacturers are in need of different ultrasonic machines which meet different needs. With Electronic Motion Series, you can achieve the highest quality welding for small parts. The Dynamic Series is used for thermoplastic parts for both medium to large size and small to medium size parts, such as buttons. The Standard Series has been developed to cater for the different frequency needs – small, medium, and large, in welding thermoplastic parts. For two different series, the operator can choose to use the Easy Series.

Sollys: A Modern Solar Lamp by Alexander Main

A product designer, Alexander Main has released a design for what he describes “as a new innovative approach of solar technology integration in home devices”. Solar power has long been referred to as the future source of sustainable energy. Nonetheless, its slow, mass adoption has been caused not only due to its higher cost – compared to oil prices – but also due to its poor aesthetics.

When it comes to home consumer devices (e.g. solar lamps) many designs have unsuccessfully entered the market. They have all failed to integrate solar technology in a “nonintrusive” manner meaning they place obvious, unattractive and industrial looking solar panels on the top, ultimately turning away most people. As a contrast, the Sollys lamp takes a different approach.

Tulip Concept EV Features Modular Design to Suit Your Needs

Ognyan Bozhilov has submitted his latest personal vehicle design to Tuvie. It’s an electric personal vehicle for modern city with modular design to suit your mobility needs. You can read details explanation below.

The Tulip is not yet another electric vehicle. The way I see it’s a striving to change the idea of one’s personal mobility. I don’t think it’s enough to cope with the emissions from conventional vehicles. We have to address also the industry that is creating them and the consumer mind of modern people fueling this industry.

This is why I want to design not only a new type of vehicle, but a whole new model for the personal transportation. An object that evolves with you, something that you form an emotional connection with. Look at it as your home. You can’t buy home. You can buy a house and use it as a base to build upon. Model it and arrange it according to your taste and needs until gradually over time it becomes your home. I want to achieve this effect with a vehicle.
