Bubble tea is a very popular street drink Taiwan, it is made fresh each day, which unfortunately also means it causes billion of disposable plastic cups and plastic straw every year. Float is a strawless, reusable cup designed specifically to drink a bubble tea. Through this project, it is hoped that people can stop using disposable plastic cups and plastic straw all together, thus, reducing the amount of plastic waste.

With conventional plastic cup, we have to use straw to enjoy those bubbles because they stay at the bottom of the cup. Float Strawless, Reusable Bubble Tea Cup solves this problem with a smart design. Each cup has inner cup that places those bubbles above the drink, therefore, you get to enjoy both tea and bubbles as you raise your cup to drink.

Float Strawless, Reusable Bubble Tea Cup eliminates the need for plastic straw. Designed by Fang Shih and Tian-yu Wu, Float would be a perfect reusable cup to use when you purchase bubble tea. It’ll reduce plastic waste for better environment.
