Most boys love Transformers, it’s a science-fiction movie about autoboots war on Earth. BEXEI X Series Watch wants to bring those autoboots image into a beautiful timepiece. Started with design ideas for mechanical watches that break through the limits of what we know. It’s a watch designed to make the wearer feel dual romance of mecha and mechanics.

The brilliant and attractive design is based on mechanical watches that are already on the market. In the mean time, BEXEI adopts futuristic design approach and studies Transformers to extract that “X” shape and apply to the watch design. It provides a sense of storytelling, the letter “X” becomes a crucial role in the design.

Designed by Shengliang Lee, this X series mechanical watch is the result of collaboration between BEXEI and Hasbro. X Series Watch represents the idea of “restore the classics” and “breakthrough the future”, it is creative concept inspired by the classic IP, Transformers. The design explores mechanical aesthetics and interpretation of new generation’s diverse visual communication, delivering unique experience from Cybertron. Featuring a new way of time reading, this watch features X-shaped movement that aligns to the 8 time positions of the 24 hours. It’s definitely not your traditional 24-hour markings on the dial.
