Window Phone : Blow Your Cell Phone to Write A Text Message

Sponsored Links

The Window Phone is a concept mobile phone that is able to transform its appearance like a window as per the weather. The phone is designed as a thin, clear and transparent plastic sheet, which remains clear during a sunny day, becomes humid during a rainy day and takes a dump outlook during a snowy day. The user can write text messages or draw pictures on the phone in different weather conditions which will later transform and show as SMS characters. The screen features sensitive interaction with the user and comprises the state of a window in different weather conditions.

better then i phone i give you that, where do all the electronic components go? explain what would cause this device to operate the way it does a bit more. you got me interested now finish the story please…

Hey guys its just a concept. So stop making plans to acquire it as yet it doesnot exist.

janni says: August 18, 2009

omg, this is like THE best thing in the world..!
what else can it do???? :)

Liam Quinn says: August 18, 2009

I absolutely 100% love this idea but as with ki I am intrigued as to where the electrical components would go or it could rely on nano technologies as with the Nokia Morph concept.

harry says: August 18, 2009

agree with the previous posters, this is a great concept! but how and what would power it? also, i think the user should be able to choose the weather effects, i dont think people need telling on their phone whether it is a miserable day (and if it is a crap day they might want cheering up with a sunny display) … otherwise it looks cool! :)

On the top of it’s back part, there is a board has hardware. The Winow phone is for the future project. Have you seen the Future vision video by Microsoft? Because it’s similar with this. You can find it on Youtube. I think that it helps you. Thank you for your interesting.

this kind of technology isn’t possible fro a long time. nano tech isn’t that advanced so this concept will stay a concept for a long time. sad, i will not live to own one of these phones.

hell we can get implants(cell phones) XD. and charge them from our body heat. compliantly hands free. its possible today ;P

Ronald Renualt says: August 19, 2009

The type of technology that will make this phone possible will exist in our lifetimes. I work with a technology firm that is working every day to make advances like these possible. Our goal is to make nanotechnology like this possible before the year 2025, and, unless some of you are 90, that will be in your lifetimes.

Ronald Renault, you’re talking of a specific date, year 2025. Please also say, when you’re talking about futuristic technologies, that this is a date of lab-possibility. Even if nano-tech and other advanced technologies may be finished by 2025, we will not see it in our phones… before maybe ten years after this date.

ARJWright says: August 20, 2009

I really like this concept, and while the hardware is slightly improbable right now, the idea of the software isn’t.

For devices that have a GPS sensor, the ability to pull weather data for the given location is pretty easy. After that, its just a matter of a theme-switcher application running alongside that which does themes based on the weather, instead of just a simple icon change.

My N97 could pull this off right now; it would work and be very innovative in that respect.

Ronald Renault says: August 20, 2009

Many experts in the field of nanotechnology believe that the surge of it’s availability will become a reality before 2030. So to answer you Draetiss, lab availability will not take that long. We fully expect to be able to have the necessary means to have technology such as this ready for consumer purchase before 2025.

I just wondered why is it so hard to read the text when on Fog or Rainy day. We supose to use it on a daily basis, aren’t we? – Great design anyways – I love it !

ghani says: September 1, 2009

It Is An Amazing Idea there can be a strip of solar battery which can be a solution of power. we can keep in mine LG-GD900 key pad this is also transparent.
