GO Portable Office Concept Was Inspired by Vintage Camera

We just got design submission from Victor Vetterlein, GO Portable Office. GO is a pre-manufactured and portable office to be used in the garden of a private residence. The use of GO helps separate work and family life while not having to commute to an office.

The shape of GO is inspired by vintage field cameras. The primary desk window of GO is similar to the lens of the camera that reaches out to gather light for capturing a memory of a moment in time and space. Also, inspiration for the interior layout comes from an aerospace flight simulator design. Since managing a business as well as operating computer software can sometimes feel like you are piloting a craft, GO’s desk area is made to feel like a cockpit.

When seated at the desk, one gets the feeling that they are in control of the direction and distance of travel for their future. A wrap around desk where three sides are easily accessible reinforces this theme. Lastly, to give a sense of depth and motion on the interior of GO, the main desk area including the floor, walls, ceiling, and shelving are designed to be a forced perspective focusing on the main window view.

eLink Concept Vehicle by Jorge Biosca Martí

eLink concept vehicle has won Michelin Design Challenge 2013 with its unique concept based on the theme “Half! Lightweight with Passion”. In the future, driving a car will become an expensive lifestyle due to the rising fuel costs, tolls and parking fees, especially in the city. Driving is not enjoyable anymore, it becomes less fun due to crowded street, there won’t enough parking spaces as well. People would look for alternative transportation, fun and eco friendly to travel long distance, and an electric SUV would become a nice reason to get out on the road. It’s a green way to travel without reducing the joy of driving.

SXT-A Iron Speed Space Tourism by Oscar Viñals

Our friend Oscar Viñals has sent us his latest space tourism project, SXT-A Iron Speed. Let’s hear what he says about this project.

Thanks to technical and technological progress, talk about Space Tourism, Suborbital trips or trip to the Moon, is not an impossible journey today. In the XXI century we think about futures achievements as, human missions on Mars, travel “regular” to the orbit of the Moon and Tourist trips to the frontier to space, available to ordinary people even with minimum income standard, it would be just like simple personal adventures.

The SXT-A Iron Speed (Space XL Transporter – Advanced) aircraft concept combines three types of propulsion engines in various stages to connect two different locations just like any commercial flight, but with the difference is that with the SXT-A Iron Speed, the passengers or “Space Tourists” could experience a supersonic cruise speed at Mach2, a maximum Hypersonic speed at Mach6 and stay for a few minutes at the border to space at 100km of altitude.
