From general understanding, Yacht refers a recreational water transportation with lots of fun activities and many alternatives to relax and entertain. But it seems like the designer of the Megayacht concept, a Naval Architecture student in Southampton England, has overlooked the ideology completely and designed a boat that neither is a warboat nor features enough recreational opportunities that can be categorized as a yacht. Even though the boat (please notice that I am not using the word ‘yacht’) was designed to meet the requirement of naval architecture and basic stability criteria to make the boat durable and safe, I would love to see some recreational elements like swimming pools, sunbath deck, dedicated hangout space, etc for the sake of naming it ‘Megayacht’. But one thing I must admit that the boat is really huge. This giant superstructure contains three massive floors, making it an exciting place for you to explore.
