Revealed at 2018 Paris Motor Show, PEUGEOT e-LEGEND is a concept car with vision of future driving pleasures in form of an iconic and desirable vehicle. Boredom is definitely not part of Peugeot’s design DNA, this concept car adopts a realistic and modern template that magnifies the elegance heritage of PEUGEOT brand. As one of major players in automotive industry, PEUGEOT believes that technology would be the service of automotive pleasure, it wants to bring innovative in propulsion, answer to future challenges, provide more emotions, and offer freedom of movement. The theme of this project would be #UnboringTheFuture.
PEUGEOT e-LEGEND is 100% autonomous, electric, and connected. The 100kWh batteries can give you 600km range, while the engine allows this car to reach 800 Nm torque and 340 Kw power that is equally distributed among its four-wheel drive. This car is capable to reach a maximum speed of 220Km/h. e-LEGEND is equipped with responsive i-Cockpit enhanced to provide passengers immersive driving experience where it can be customized up to four driving modes. Nowadays, we are constantly over-stimulated, to have time for yourself probably can be considered a luxury. Autonomous driving offers you a time for yourself, enjoying the ride within your car.
PEUGEOT e-LEGEND offers four modes of driving, depending on the type of road traffic or your state of mind as the driver. Two autonomous modes: Soft and Sharp. The soft mode prioritize the comfort of passengers, it projects on digital material screens while information display reduced to a minimum. The sharp mode offers accurate and dynamic vehicle typing, it offers maximum connection to digital activities as possible. In this autonomous mode, the steering wheel retracts under the sound bar, giving passengers full clear of 490inch screen, the front seats are reclined, the side armrests deploy automatically. Two manual modes: Legend and Boost. The legend mode is a cruising mode while boost mode offers dynamic and stimulating driving thanks to powerful electric motor.
PEUGEOT e-LEGEND concept features Houndify technology, it’s a perfect complement to voice-enabled AI and conversation intelligence technologies. Constructed with FOCAL acoustic architecture, this concept car offers optimal sound diffusion. The mapping system makes it possible to send messages to the driver only while other passengers listen to music. The zoning system also allows for total individualization of the contents, where each passenger can enjoy their sound bubble without mutual nuisance.
With athletic and sensual look, PEUGEOT e-LEGEND also creates sharp silhouette. The front design features visual signature with three claws and two double modules. The entire front mask is encased in front wings and split two by a black aluminum beam, a legacy of chrome-plated stainless steel bumpers. The rear part offers iconic visual signature of PEUGEOT range. That third brake light, located at the top of the rear window, covering its full width with a multi-blade assembly that reflects itself.
