Orico automatic mechanical watch is an award-winning design that features elegant and stylish design to complement your outfit as well as boast your self-confidence. Orico has been selected as “Top Design Winner” of the European Product Design Award 2020, it’s a mechanical, high quality watch that includes both hand-winding and automatic variety.
Coming from a high-skilled product designer with more than 12 years of experience under his belt, Orico design aims to create connection between man and machine, without that human element, this watch wouldn’t work. Wind it by hand, wearing it, and you can power it by the movement of your wrist. The open back allows you to see the mechanical movement working, things that make your watch comes to live.
Orico bridges two worlds of classic and modern with timeless design. Pouya Hosseinzadeh explains that his design was inspired by sunflower and seeds pattern, therefore, Orico design emphasizes functionality and simplicity while still featuring a futuristic look. It demonstrates how it defies symmetry and conformity through subtle elements, it breaks consistency and exudes versatility and boldness to the overall look.
The process of making Orico’s case is a complex task, there are almost 30 parts needed to make it. The design and execution follows a holistic approach to the conception of the movement, case, and dial. The case is made of grade 5 titanium with exceptional hand finishing. It’s available in limited edition of only 42 pieces.
