Designed for Lemnos, Nendo has reinterpreted cuckoo clocks into three modern designs. These clocks look anything but traditional, it’s a collection of unique clocks that complement any modern decor.
The Bookend version features a cuckoo clock that also functions as a bookend through the splitting of dial’s face into two parts. The merge comes naturally since the clock and those books co-exist on the shelf in harmony. The Tilt version features unusual angles that suggest the clock should be placed upside-down. This can be done through the use of heavier internal components asymmetrically on one side of the base, enabling this clock to naturally maintain its balance. The Dent version is similar to the traditional clock we’ve known, it’s carved out of the block with a cuckoo bird that would peek out sideways from a small hole located on the side of the clock.
