Golf is a sport known as most elitist and exclusive game in the industry. It is less accessible to lots of people than other sports due to various reasons such as cost, difficult rules, and space constraints. It takes a lot of time to play and can be relatively costly compared to other sports such as basketball or football.
HIO is a set of AR glasses concept designed to play golf. These glasses provide scalability and versatility that allow everyone to enjoy golf in different environments beyond the field.
Through this concept, it is hoped that more people can enjoy golf without limited by their environments. Designed by Taeyang Kim, HIO AR Glasses provide information and real-time feedback for user such as batting average, distance, route, and statistics. It also comes with built-in earphones to inform user about a wider range of options. There are dials on both sides to help user control the volume or circumference of the user’s head.
