Designed by Yael Akirav, Origami Lamp uses printed material that conducts electricity, thus when tangent points created by origami folding, it turns the light on. Therefore, user can turn on/off the light simply by shrinking and stretching the structure. The filament is used as a skeletal structure of the lighting fixture, therefore, it’s possible to create its own unique fold and unfold mechanism.
