Co-Grain Bird Feeder Cereal Pack is a creative packaging design inspired by the idea of sharing grains with birds. The designers so often stock up grains at home, unfortunately, they also couldn’t finish within the shelf life. When disposing these wasted grains, they realized that there were many birds eating those grains from the ground. This view made them realize it must be hard for these birds to forage for food in the city especially in this era of rapid urbanization. Sharing our grains with these birds is not a bad thing, in fact, they can reduce the waste of grains while helping these birds with their daily foraging.
Designed by Lide Ma, Zhiyi Zou and Yuxuan Mao, Co-Grain provides innovative cereal packaging design. It helps to create a new life for the packaging that turns into a simple bird feeder. The cardboard material is made of high-strength kraft paper then printed with special patterns and text. You can transform it into a bird feeder by following simple instructions, then place it in a wooded area near your house, in the park, or other places to provide these birds with some of your leftover cereal.
