Unigyro single seater vehicle has been designed to move on three wheels at low speeds of 40km/h. Designed by Morteza Vafadar, the main wheel of the vehicle is located in the middle of the other two smaller wheels, controlled by two moving arms.
Designer : Morteza Vafadar

At maximum speed, the two rear wheels fold into the vehicle while two winglets at the top of Unigyro open, thus making the vehicle moves on the main wheel alone. The other two winglets float the vehicle and control its motion. In order to save energy, the gearbox inside the main wheel is replaced with CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
