Existing digital pencils on the market have their own limitations as you need your smartphone or tablet to use it, otherwise those pencils are useless. The basic idea of this project was to combine AI devices with a high-end writing instrument, inspired by iconic and luxurious Montblanc’s design DNA. Montblanc Note is a concept study of an advanced digital pen designed not only for tablets and smartphones, it also comes with a special dock or charging pad that doubles as notepad as well.

Montblanc Note offers precise, intuitive, and elegant writing instruments where you can pair it with just about any devices without any limitation.

Designed by Jean-François Bozec, Montblanc Note concept combines a digital note with a digital pen , where you can tap on it, press it, or scroll it down. You can customize the touch sensitive area according to your needs with the tools you use the most. The wireless charging pad comes with magnetic mechanism that allows the pen to perfectly attach simply with a snap onto the top of the pad. It’ll display remaining battery capacity on the screen. You can write important notes or messages on that e-ink screen, then tap on your pen to send them to the cloud so that you can check them later on any could-based devices.

The digital pen has been designed to ergonomically fit in your hand, the logo is composed of nacre, the top part is made of aluminum, while the bottom is made of stainless steel to create a perfect weight. The pen comes in three colors: rose gold, sage green, and abyssal blue.
