Gogoro, a company that’s been one of leaders in battery swapping eco systems, has introduced Gogoro CrossOver Smartscooter. It’s the first two-wheel SUV that supports sustainable mobility solutions for cities. Designed to be customized and personalized, the rider of CrossOver can adapt its functions on the fly. Available in Taiwan later this quarter, Gogoro comes in two models: CrossOver and CrossOver S.

This new model embodies everything Gogoro has come to stand for, it highlights new functional design that makes it possible to customize each ride. The vehicle is based on a redesigned all-terrain frame that allows for increased rigidity while providing a variety of storage and riding capabilities. It’s the next level of Gogoro’s vehicle product family in Taiwan and across their new markets as they continue to expand their vehicle options for customers.

Just like its name suggests, Gogoro CrossOver Smartscooter has been designed to go anywhere with you. It adopts a new all-terrain frame that promises increased rigidity with greater strength and stability. this new frame also provides 14.2 centimeters of ground clearance, it’s the highest in the Gogoro’s current vehicle lineup.

CrossOver also features ample storage space thanks to a new mounting point expansion system that comes with 26 locking points. It leverages four cargo areas (including a platform design headlight, foot, seat, and rear cargo space) that makes this scooter accommodate your storage needs. You can carry more, that rear seat can be flipped up or removed when you need a cargo storage.

Equipped with a G2.2 aluminum alloy water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor, Gogoro CrossOver provides maximum power of 7.6kW. The FLO DRIVE belt drive system promises smooth ride experience, that integrated SBS with front/rear disc brakes help stabilize and shorten the braking distance. All smart functions of this scooter can be controlled through Gogoro’s Mobile app.
