Designed for 2024, Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept features most emotional expression of the Genesis brand’s characteristic, it represents Athletic Elegance design philosophy. It’s a concept born from a design study that demonstrates Genesis’ passion and their intent for the Vision Gran Turismo series.
It’s a car for a race track. X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept has front fascia that abstracts the crest grille and links it with the Quad lights. This design structures the volumes and connects the front and rear with Genesis’ Two Lines brand identifier, boasting lightweight aerodynamic construction. It emphasizes the front hood, especially when the crest grille is lit.
The interior of Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept brings back a purist environment for the pilot where all essential functions are prioritized, making sure pilot’s focus while on the race track. The side profile offers a generous dash-to-axle ratio that moves the driver and powertrain rearward for a lean mid-engine layout. That sporty body sculpture comes in contrast with technical aero details that accentuate the powerful form.
Powered by a front mid-mounted Lambda 11 V6 engine, X Gran Berlinetta VGT concept is electrically assisted by E-SC technology. It promises a total of 1071hp 986 lb-ft of torque.
The rear design is polished by a rear spoiler, together with lateral trailing edges, this concept sportscar can achieve aerodynamic high-speed stability. The fuselage extrudes towards the rear, shaping an elliptical concave volume which is common to Genesis vehicles. That magma color is inspired by Genesis brand’s distinctly Korean ethos, that bold hue references Korea’s volcanoes and the emotion, passion, and vibrancy of the nation’s culture.
