Submitted by Oscar Vinals, Sky OV Supersonic Jet is a concept designed as next generation of commercial airplanes. It has everything that you only see in Sci-Fi movies, from fuselages, engines, to power sources, everything would be real. It only makes sense that future airplane’s engines would become lighter, quieter, and more efficient. Your experience to fly would be much different than today, you would enjoy more space, different kinds of luxuries, special commodities, and many more. This aircraft design is focused on these advanced technologies along with their application for future flight concept that will be full of awesome innovations.
Sky OV Concept Plane is based on future evolution for new kind of airplane engine with bladeless turbojet engine, just like Dysson concept idea. It would be super quiet at supersonic speed, an engine based on pulse detonation would be much more efficient than current turbojet engines with similar performance as a ramjet engine.
Powered by hydrogen fuel and electric power, Sky OV promises an environmentally friendly aircraft capable to cover long distances with zero emissions. It uses a very low hydrogen fuel consumption yet it has a cruise speed of Mach 1.2. The exterior design features a blended wing body fuselage for better performance than current standard airplanes due to its mass distribution and its flight behavior.
Sky OV Concept Airplane is capable to accommodate up to 200 passengers in a very comfortable conditions, it has multi-configuration space with all kinds of commodities and smart devices. The foldable wings make sure that SKY OV doesn’t take much space when parked at the airport waiting for next departure.
