The Fastback presents a new electric guitar concept based on a new design language inspired on super-sport cars shapes. Most electric guitar icons design hasn’t changed since like forever. Fastback aims to offer an alternative design, inspired by the shapes of a Ferrari where form and function united in a lightweight, ergonomic and balanced body sculpted through elegant lines and athletic shapes with sense of flow and speed. Enough innovative to reach new horizons but enough conservative to be welcomed by the global guitarist taste, a new concept projected to the future without loosing its classical roots.
Weighing at just 3,1kg, Fastback body is finished in Apple Candy Red then lacquered with gloss polyurethane. Designed by David Flores Loredo, all parts of this guitar are skillfully crafted from selection of woods and components. The pickups and electrics are handcrafted Custom B&B Classic 61 Hot Humbuckers with Split-Coil. The maple neck comes with rosewood fingerboard in modern C shape and finished in gloss urethane. Full contact Babicz Hardtail bridge. Scale length of 25.5 inches. Master Tone and Master Volume with Push/Pull Split-coil. 3-Position Toggle switch. Kluson chromed 6L with auto-lock machine heads. Fastback electric guitar concept has been designed for a medium production at reasonable cost.
