Toyota has revealed their latest vehicle, Urban SUV concept. This project is a preview of a close-to-production electric vehicle planned to launch in Europe 2024. Urban SUV concept would become Toyota’s key figure when it comes to BEV strategy for Europe, it promises the most compact and accessible model in line-up of six dedicated BEVs that will be available by 2026.
At the moment, Toyota has entered B-SUV segment with its hybrid electric Yaris Cross, in fact, this model has become best-selling model in its class. Inspired by this experience, Toyota has developed authentic and versatile battery electric SUV that meets priorities of European customers. This vehicle also promises the quality, durability, and reliability that have become signature of Toyota brand.
Urban SUV Concept has been designed to offer you an authentic SUV presence. It features a compact body which is set on strong shoulders and a commanding driving position. Inside, the space is optimized in a flexible interior that adapts easily to passengers’ needs. This model will offer a dual battery strategy, customers would be able to choose between two battery capacities to suit their budget and driving range requirements. Urban SUV concept is part of Toyota Motor Europe project to support Europe to reach complete carbon neutrality by 2040.
