The 50th Anniversary Honda Super 90 Concept Motorcycle by Igor Chak

Igor Chak has submitted his latest project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Honda Super 90. He has come up with classic concept motorcycle that represents his love of the Honda’s design in the 60’s. Back in the 60’s, Honda was focusing more on the lightweight and stylish bike for optimum performance in rural areas, thus, the bikes were cheaper with better gas mileage compared to bigger bikes. The iconic S90 bike also came from that era, it’s a unique motorcycle with shiny chrome tank and a stamped frame featuring a 89.6cc SOHC, 2-valve, 4-stroke air-cooled engine that can reach a top speed of 64mph.

This motorcycle design study tries to bring back this vintage vehicle into our modern life, it’s been 50 years since the first S90 launched. For this new design, Igor Chak didn’t really want to change anything since S90 appearance is already perfect. He only made the new S90 a bit bigger, sleeker, and more aerodynamic, the chrome is still there, you can see it from the gas tank to little accents around this bike.

Urbliner Electric Vehicle for The City of Bogota, Colombia in 2030

Urbliner electric vehicle was born out of the idea of developing transportation solution for college students in the city of Bogota, Colombia in 2030. Based on researches, young students are usually fun, different, extreme, and thrill seekers, they demand vehicle that can meet their lifestyle needs. The main problems we have to face on daily basis are rainy days, objects to load, low speed paths due to ground conditions and the strength to be applied to circumvent the pollution which is exposed by public transport, passenger limit from 1 to 2 people per ride, instability to have two wheels and work on the weight of the occupant, including the low road of the city of Bogota.

This concept vehicle proposes solutions to above problems by having a canopy to protect rider and passenger from the rain. It’s constructed of light alloy and plastic, rider can remove the canopy on a sunny day to enjoy the warmth of the sun. the large side cabin space allows you to load suitcases, papers, folders, etc. without any problem.

Dual Pod Transport Is A Two Wheeler With Off-Road Capabilities

I would definitely drive this vehicle on every hill I can find to see if the suspension system is better than the ones we are familiar with. This amazing piece of engineering and design is called Dual Pod Transport vehicle, and it has only two wheels. It’s like a motorcycle with a roof. But it’s not a motorcycle, it’s a car with two wheels. So we ask ourselves how is it able to hold its balance? Well, the designer, by the name of Ryan David Francis, came with a very interesting answer. He designed the wheels wide enough for the car to stabilize itself. The foot print is generous and it offers stability on various types of terrain.

Sea Creatures And Zaha Hadid Architecture Became Inspiration For A Futuristic Vehicle That Splits In Two

Core2sia is the name of this unique futuristic concept imagined by Hossein Ghahramani. The word “Core2sia” refers to the Italian word “cortesia” which translated means politeness, courteousness, courtliness. The number 2 inserted in the name reminds us that we are talking about a vehicle that has the ability to split in two,  telling us that is something with 2 cores. Inspired by sea creatures and Zaha Hadid’s architecture lines, Hossein, developed his main idea of the concept. The main idea was to design a family car which consists of two vehicles in the same time inside a cover. The cover can be used as a cabin for camping when the cars are separated. The supple long shape of the two mini cars allows them to move easily in heavy traffic just as a motorcycle would find its way between other cars stuck in traffic. This interesting concept comes with more new features, one of these is the drive train.

Green Speed Air Powered Motorcycle for Zero Pollution Effect

The Green Speed concept is an air-fueled concept bike that features a zero pollution effect on the environment through greenhouse gas emissions and especially being cheap and willingly available. The rotary air engine is lightweight, compact and powerful and is powered by compressed air from the two compressed air tanks. Because of its 3000 RPM of the engine, this bike can run only on one gear which is actually a sprocket bolted to the engine axis and chained with the rear wheel. The carbon fiber tanks of the bike stores the compressed air, when mass is produced, the solar panel generated energy will compress air and amass them in the tanks. The bike doesn’t contain any kind of lightening like headlight, indicator light or brake lights; instead, it contains three tiny cameras.

2015 Chak Motors Molot : A Custom Futuristic Superbike From Modified Honda CBR 1000RR ABS

We just got a design submission from Igor Chak, this time, he designed a futuristic superbike, 2015 Chak Motors Molot. When it comes to choosing a motorcycle, there is not much choice on the market today, the safest is usually the biggest, most of the bikes that have any safety features are the touring bikes but when it comes to super sport you don’t really have much to compare.

Igor Chak offers a safer and smarter concept motorcycle. ABS has been around since the 70’s but it’s just recently been appearing on motorcycles. This project incorporates advanced technologies that don’t cost a fortune to make this motor bike lighter, stronger, and safer. The word Molot itself is a Russian word that means a sledge or a mallet type hammer, it perfectly describes aggressive, tough, and technologically advanced 1000cc superbike.

Ducati Diavel Strada Features Muscular Body With Delicate Touch

Diavel Strada motorcycle was born out of Ducati designers’ wish-list to design a “basic instincts” bike. Sketches were made which became the foundation of lower and longer motorcycle design, the challenge was to build a muscular motor that features delicate touch. As you can see here, the result is a frontal area that looks like a power athlete on the starting blocks. The front wheel has been designed to be really close to the body, utilizing the short tail of a sport bike, they can blend muscular design with a chassis that matched.

Diavel Strada is powered by Testastretta 11° engine, it is also equipped with accessories to increate the level of comfort of its rider such as side bags, larger seat, windshield as well as raised handlebars.

Brayton 6 Concept Bike by Colby Higgins

The Brayton 6 concept bike was designed from the inside out in order to create a true high-performance machine. Designed by Colby Higgins, the designer of Train Wreck Bike, you can expect this bike design is going to be extraordinary. The power-to-weight ratio was a critical influence on the design, as you probably can see here, with the purpose of creating an extremely light motorcycle, the bike was built around a combustion “bladder”. The engine bladders are lightweight carbon nanotube cylinders. Each one acts individually like a 2-stroke engine to pull the camshaft and create linear motion. Timing and fuel regulation are controlled by a microcontroller. So, the benefits of utilizing the combustion bladder engine include weight reduction and ease of maintenance. The engine itself is fueled by natural gas stored in the bottom tank.

Futuristic Nike One 2022 Racing Car by Phil Frank Design

Futuristic Nike One 2022 Racing Car has been designed for driving simulator Grand Turismo 4. Phil Frank, the principal of Phil Frank Design, LLC explained that Nike One 2022 boasts dramatic and futuristic technology of Nike One with its athletic focus, stretched surfaces and less-is-more philosophy, just like the principles from Bill Bowerman, Nike founder. Since Nike is an athletic company, this futuristic vehicle was designed and developed from that perspective, instead of building just another fast car, the design team took the inspiration and learned from the human body, its motion and dynamics.

“The wide and narrow track widths of the car for instance are directly inspired by a sprinter in the starting blocks” explains Asano, one of Phil Frank design team, “even the asymmetric tire profile comes from the human form”. “All these design elements are there for a functional performance reason” adds Frank, “right down to the dynamic motion control of the suspension”. The Nike ONE’s innovative suspension mimics tension in the muscles and takes advantage of the asymmetric tire profile to have extreme negative camber in a straight line for minimized rolling resistance on the motorcycle like section and then maximum positive camber when cornering or breaking.

Honda Chopper by Peter Norris

Honda Chopper was born out of the idea of designing a motorcycle concept that doesn’t fall into categories of sleek, minimalist, or industrialist. The designer decided to go with his instincts and tried not to be overly influenced with particular style, in fact, his inspirations came from many sources such as clean lines of medical machinery, 70’s and 80’s marker drawings, a bit of manga, a bit of Speeder bike from “Return of the Jedi”.
