Supernal S-A2 eVTOL concept was inspired by beauty and efficiency of nature. It’s built for the future, anticipating tomorrow’s technology and market demand, this concept wants to set higher standard for advanced air mobility.
The design features eight tilting rotors which are unique to the industry yet it would solve a number of engineering challenges simultaneously. Each rotor would provide vertical and horizontal thrust, increasing aircraft efficiency. These rotors also allow for a lighter vehicle and deliver a smoother flight.
Supernal teamed up with Hyundai Motor Group to bring you best of automotive design and engineering to aerospace. Safety is the main concern, this aircraft is designed to meet global aviation safety standards for operation in markets around the world. S-A2 eVTOL concept would be capable of operating safety at night even in poor visibility conditions. The open design system makes it possible for future upgrades as technology matures, thanks to multi-generation platform, it will limit downtime and make upgrades easy.
The cabin is designed by award-winning luxury automotive designers, therefore, it is configurable and modular. Owner can easily switch it between cargo, two, or four passenger layouts.
