Short people problem: when you can’t see the band during a concert because tall people are in front of you. Good news, here’s One Foot Taller Periscope Glasses. It’s a unique device that allows wearer to see “one foot taller” a.k.a 30.5cm than their normal eye level. The idea came when the designer standing at a gig, see a small women dancing away but unable to see the band. This situation inspired him to design a device for people to see over obstacles such as tall people like him.
Designed by Dominic Wilcox, One Foot Taller Periscope Glasses are actually simple device, made from one sheet of mirrored acrylic, which is bent precisely. This project is part of Microsoft Surface challenge where Dominic has to think up some everyday problems and come up with solution.
