Responding to a need, EyeWris is a wrist reading glasses that allows you to always carry your glasses with you even when you don’t wear them. Inspired by Kenzo Singer’s father where he needed a better solution to reading glasses to never forget them. EyeWris provides unique structured eyewear based on the invention of the bi-stable bridge, thanks to Kenzo structural engineering background, it is possible for him to design such a unique glasses.
Kenzo Singer explains that EyeWris reading glasses can be wrapped securely around your wrist so that they are always within reach. The idea of this project is to eliminate your daily frustration of not having your reading glasses within reach when you need them. The idea here is to apply balancing act of precise geometry and materials engineering, so this can be said world’s first bi-stable nose bridge that utilizes memory metal to both spring open and snap shut. These glasses are worn just like traditional eyewear, but with one exception, when you don’t need them, within one motion, they turn into bracelet.
