Diptyque is a beautiful and delicate scented candle inside a colored glass holder. Back in 1963, the company introduced emotion and delicacy into interiors, it created scented candle with its herbarium of novel scents. Now, sixty years after that, Diptyque presents the first scented candles which also offer refills.
The main goal of this project is to add beauty to your everyday lives and to withstand passing of time. It’s a scented candle designed to become an object of luxury. Candles from Diptyque combine visually pleasing aesthetic, technical excellence, and environmental responsibility.
In collaboration with Cristina Celestino, each candle is placed inside a beautiful colored glass holder. “Les Monde de Diptyque” wants to represent a number of less known yet remarkable places, each one features its own captivating blend of nature and culture. The perfumes would be able to transport your senses and imagination far away, experience a journey without motion, just like a dream. This emotional journey is based on the essences, therefore, the containers of these essences should convey these messages.
This glass candle holder features totemic volume with overlapped three rings in oval shape. The oval serves as inspiration for volume’s design, at the same time, it represents the number of founders of the Maison. Take a look from above, you’ll find the flame is located at the center of this oval shape.
