Canyon Future Mobility Concept offers lightweight and powerful e-bike design yet with stability of four-wheel vehicle. Riding this bike you’ll get storm-proof protection from elements. Instead of getting stuck in a traffic, you’ll get to enjoy an empty bike lane, even when the weather is not so friendly, you are still safe and protected inside. The electric motor is fast and stable enough to allow rider to fly down the open road, yet the compact body is agile enough to slide into the bike lane when things get backed up.
By designing a totally-sealable compartment (The Capsule), Canyon Future Mobility Concept blends form and function for convenient of the rider. When the weather is good, the roof of this vehicle can be slid forward along two rails to open the cockpit up. You can enjoy fresh-breeze feeling as if you’re driving a convertible. The Capsule also offers enough space behind the rider to seat a child or groceries.
The interior features the similar characteristic of a recumbent bicycle where rider is placed in comfortable laid-back position with their feet on the pedals. Canyon uses intuitive side stick steering, there are two joysticks positioned by the rider’s left and right hips to turn this vehicle up to 7-meter turning radius.
