Normally, people won’t bother to turn off the water while soaping their hands, they let the water run for nothing, thus resulting a large amount of water is wasted daily. Seesaw faucet solves this issue with a simple design structure.

BALERINA dish rinsing and storage tool is made of plastic (random co-polipropilen) and has a double turntable plate. The product is a clean dish storage system that can easily be placed nearby the kitchen sink that exist with three parts. Compared to existing products in the market, this concept is more advantageous since it provides a regular usage space and having an enormous storage capacity.

Here are the top 25 concepts from Electrolux Design Lab 2011. The concepts have been chosen from designers all around the world, where each of the designs offer smart and interesting solutions for future living. Eight finalists will be announced later this July where each will be invited to present their concept to a jury of expert designers.
1. Robo TAP Cleaner by Gyu Ha Choi (Handong Global University – South Korea)
Robo TAP Cleaner is a smart robotic vacuum cleaner where you can set a specific area for cleaning. The IPS system aligned with a simple remote control attached to the shoe or slipper of the user to over-ridden the automated cleaning. Just by tapping 2 times on a dirty spot, Robo TAP will be directed to that area, while 2 more taps will cancel your order. Three taps will return the vacuum cleaner to the regular cleaning area. Smart heh?
2. EcoWash Dinner Set by David Stockton (Massey University School of Design – New Zealand)
EcoWash is a great dishwasher to use when you don’t have electricity, such as boating, camping, or countryside vacations. Just place all the dishes into the round small washing machine, add some water and washing-up liquid, close the latch and turn the handle on the side. The interior rotates to wash all your dishes efficiently and effortlessly. When it’s finished, just open the small hatch to release the water. To dry the plates, turn the handle a few more times to create a centrifugal force. That’s really cool, eco-friendly, handy, and easy to carry around.

The Chiseled Faucet, one of a kind faucet, it will be a very excellent design in your bathroom or faucet, the concept is like that of a molded piece of chrome. It’s wide based, rear mounted as well as extended neck handle is providing a very efficient profile that reinforce stealth sharp edge as well as flat feature. This chiseled faucet had been created for a desirable usage of ergonomics and to fit the standard of sinks, with its components like filters, connectors, cartridge). There can also be optional finishing touches like the polishing of the brushed nickel or chrome.
There are many people who have faced problems with cooking during outings or when you are camping at a remote place. Considering this fact, industrial designer Irina Zhdanova has conceived the idea of a self sufficient mobile kitchen, EGGo. This egg shaped mobile kitchen has a water reservation tank, gas chamber along with a water sink and a burner. The glossy metal body doesn’t seem like a kitchen from any point of view but there are several layers of this kitchen with different useful features. You can use this kitchen inside your tent and can carry it easily on the top of your car.
This new compact dish rack has been designed in so that it fits the sink counter perfectly. The designers while designing this device have kept in mind the fact that it not only looks smart but also is compact enough to fit into the smallest of space provided. The design lets the pivoting spout to drain water directly into sink, thereby ensuring cleanliness and no water being on the dish rack or the plates. The plastic walls are also easy to clean thereby it helps in hiding the clutter of drying dishes. So this compact dish rack can be said to be a perfect companions for the kitchen.
This garbage disposing system is surely an appropriate alternative to the regular home sink in garbage which ensures that the food waste is composted rather than be sent down the drain. The device has been named as CompostAll, is placed under the sink and thereby it is a pretty convenient, discreet and odor free location for storing waste food with an alert light which indicates when the container is full and it also has easy carry and disposing of waste contents to the bigger container outside. There is not much change that one has to do when placing this device in the kitchen as everything stays the same except the wastage manner. Thus it’s an eco friendly way of saying you care!
Rubicona is a multi-function kitchen designed by Amar Cudic from Bosnia. This product is the combination of several components that are independent from each other and can be used as per user’s requirements. There are 6 different elements in each level where you can keep fresh fruits or vegetables. Each storage element is opened from front side in the shape of a cut and contains a function of air movement which allows food to stay fresh. You can rotate each level to 360 degrees and this will enable user to take food without moving. The color and overall design of this product is quite impressive and also make cooking more interesting and exciting for everyone.
“Fruit of Life” is nothing but a futuristic kitchen inspired by the apple tree with fruits hanging from its branches. This kitchen looks like a tree with two large fruits incorporating a small fridge, microwave oven, LCD screen, closet and an electric cooker. The kitchen offers the flexibility to browse the internet and chat with your friends while cooking in your kitchen. The sink and table board are fitted on the top of the board branch. You can anytime rotate or lift this handy kitchen as per your requirement. This can be the most stylish and modern kitchen that anyone can have in their house.
Now no more worries for space in your kitchen because designer “Matthias Pinkert” from Germany has designed a wonderful appliance for removing your sinks and cook tops that take up a lot of space in small kitchens. Vesta Cooktop can be folded flat or vertically against the wall and out of the way when not in use to offer a larger working space. This appliance also contains a scanner that can read RFID chips which helps in providing information about cooking, times and temperatures and even recipe suggestions. The sleek design of the stainless steel and glass appliance will surely be liked by advanced and gadget friendly audience.
For all the people who find it a hassle to do rinsing, and disposing garbage, designer Anne Kitzmiller has come up with Crevasse Prep Sink. The sink has been developed in collaboration with Kohler kitchen design and engineering group, it controls rinsing functions and garbage disposal synchronization. It uses a unique technique to develop a safe interface which can be activated by human touch, thus eliminating any chance of activation by accident by a pot or a pan. A constant blue glow indicates the rinse cycle, and the synchronized garbage disposal cycle is indicated by a flashing blue glow.

Your home can never be completed without a kitchen therefore nothing is more important than a well-furnished, well-equipped and systematically designed kitchen where you cook delicious meals for your family everyday. Enex has come up with their “Hue and Funny” Kitchen, which they have claimed to be the future of kitchen design. It proposes a new paradigm for modern kitchen where relaxing space to rest and a joyous space of entertainment can be.
It is a new design with the idea that a sink does not always have to be rectangular. Coming from the beautiful curve of a seated woman, it minimizes the bottom cabinet to design a countertop that seems to float in the air. Built-in entertainment equipment, including TV and audio, create a future-oriented multi-functional kitchen which you might have seen on a Sci-Fi movie.
This curvilinear design breaks away from the conventional concept of design and creates a liberal island kitchen that has no restrictions in space and moving. It creates a fun entertainment space for the whole family. It does not distinguish front from rear and allows use of countertop and cabinetry from both directions. The top cabinetry rotates 360°. You may even customize the island to eliminate the top cabinetry to fit your needs.
