Ponti Design Studio has teamed with OPPO’s design team to design and developed smartband produced by Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO. This brand has been famously recognized for its highly innovative smartphones with modern design and attention to details, including the use of high quality materials. This brand has successfully combined latest technologies into a sophisticated design, this characteristic also inspired the concept of OPPO Band. It’s a wearable device that would perfectly suit everyone on every occasion.
Available in two models: OPPO Band and OPPO Band Style. OPPO Band is designed with a rubber strap that encases the device, it is ideal for sports and outdoor activities. OPPO Band Style features a floating design, which means the design looks as if suspended inside that polished stainless steel ring, then attached to an elegant rubber strap. Andrea Ponti explains that this design is ideal for sophisticated look everyday.
Inside, there’s powerful and advanced hardware, both models feature a 1.1-inch AMPLED color touch-display with 126×294 pixel resolution. It is equipped with Apollo 3 chip and is water resistant up to 50 meters. There’s integrated SpO2 and optical sensors that provide continuous blood oxygen saturation (during sleep), sleep, and heart-rate monitoring. The software features vibrant and dynamic user interface with 12 sport modes and more than 160 watch faces for intuitive user experience and high level of customization. It also comes with other standard features such as notifications of call, message, weather, and also music controls.
The battery operates for about 14 days on a full charge. OPPO Band Style also supports NFC for contactless payments in China.
