Matrix5 is a communication device with assistive key for the blind. Through the use of special keypad for Moadream, it is possible to make multiple communications through sense-centered physical touch. The keypad has been updated to progressively modified new version with more features and better textures. It is designed based on user’s feedback and verified by loyal consumers. The curved outline body design would feel good on your grips, user’s thumbs are positioned on the thermal sensor, the large touch pad in the middle can be used for variety different functions.
Designed by Aerum Gu, Matrix5 can be used to make a phone call, it has mic input, speaker, up-down volume keys. The compact size makes it ideal as a one-handed gadget, it’s a good replacement for smartphone. For the blind, “taction” with their hands are crucial, they can recognize objects and faces much better through touch compared to sighted people. Each function key of Matrix5 matches each various type of texture finishes, it can be perceived by the user accurately.
