Linker is a futuristic urban air mobility vehicle designed as final major project for industrial design degree. With overurbanization, cities are become crowded and more concentrated, we need to address these urban mobility challenges with better and smart transportation solutions. Linker is the next generation of air mobility, a concept transportation that would fly users to their destination and see a whole new world from above. Instead of small oval windows, this aircraft features massive panoramic windows for passengers to enjoy beautiful sky and city view. Each passenger seat is designed and optimized to provide ultimate comfort where ground-sky-city relationship is connected as ever.
Designed by Joowon Lee, just like its name suggests, Linker Urban Air Mobility would link city to city, helping everyone moving even in the most congested cities. The interior features two different interiors: public (6 seats) and premium (4 seats). The public version allows you to enjoy the sky together while respecting individual spaces while the premium version offers better and more comfortable flights with more spacious option.
Linker can accommodate up to six people on board. The seats consist of two rows of two-people seat and another two rows of one-person seat. It’s a space that respects not only the time spent together while looking at the sky during the flight, but also the time spent alone. Communication between users and the system is made possible through eHMI placed on the wings. It provides you with essential information, alerts, destinations, and welcome greetings.
