Honda Brings Back Motocompo Through Motocompacto e-Scooter

Honda brings back Motocompo, a scooter from the early ‘80s. This all-new Honda Motocompacto wants to redefine affordable all-electric scooter as your personal transportation with simple and sleek styling, it features innovative and compact, foldable design. As zero-emission vehicle, Motocompacto would be ideal for urban mobility, it offers easy and fun ride alternative than public transportation while reducing carbon footprint with great convenience.

Small but mighty, Motocompacto promises a maximum speed of 15mph and range of up to 12 miles. This vehicle can be charge in just 3.5 hours in both the folded and read-to-ride configuration using just common 110v outlet.

Designed and developed by Honda engineers in Ohio and California, this innovative creation with innovative approach has earned 32 patents. Its foldable design allows Motocompacto transforms into its own compact and light carrying case, it’s easy to take along in a vehicle on public transportation.

The design focuses on rider’s comfort and convenience, Motocompacto comes with a cushy seat, secure grip foot pegs, on-board storage, a digital speedometer, a charge gauge, and a comfortable carry handle. This scooter also comes with a smart phone app that allows rider to adjust their personal settings, including ride modes and lighting. Designed with safety and durability in mind, this e-scooter features a heat-treated aluminum frame and wheels, side reflectors, bright LED headlight and taillight, and a welded steel lock loop on its kickstand.
