Designed to be the next generation of green urban transportation, eQO Limo is a futuristic concept eVTOL capable to transport up to 8 passengers and 1 pilot. The name was born out of reference to electric quo/state in Latin, well, it is meant to be the future of our green aircraft based on electric engines and sustainable energy.
Equipped with six electric rotors in the front, four electric axial flux motors in the middle, and two large electric engines in the rear, eQO Limo eVTOL can cover a range of 373 miles with a maximum speed of 292mph.
Designed by Oscar Viñals, eQO Limo Aircraft is capable to generate its own energy thanks to two aerogenerators located at the top of this airplane. The roof is made of variable translucent glass with quantum dots (QDSC) to obtain solar energy, these elements are capable to produce enough power to lengthen the flight distance or time. As a multipurpose eVTOL, EQO Limo morphs into a rescue, ambulance, or police aircraft.
One of special features of eQO Limo eVTOL is the electric axial flux motors that produce high torque/weight, they are located on both sides of the aircraft. Furthermore, thanks to air pressure chambers and a duct system that could redirect air flow, it generates a powerful propulsion to move the aircraft forward and assists in the takeoff/landing maneuvers.
