Designed by Aziz belkharmoudi, Algoritmi USV Concept Cargo Vessel is a design study to create a zero emissions cargo, an unmanned surface cargo (USV). Algoritmi features 800m length and incorporates a number of futuristic technologies such as a zero carbon propulsion system, powered by a compact atomic fusion reactor.
Powered by atomic energy (fusion, not fission), this cargo boat can cross the entire ocean. The compact atomic fusion reactor is capable to produce 400 MW of power, compared to the old fashion fission nuclear reactors, fusion provides a cleaner and safer energy. Also, energy created by fusion is 3 to 4 times more powerful than energy released by fission. The heat created by fusion reactor will drive steam turbines to generate electricity and propel the vessel up to 40 knots or 74km/h. To make it even more efficient, this concept vessel features 80,000-meter square marine grade solar panels on its surface, they harness the power of the sun to create more extra energy when needed.

Algoritmi USV Cargo has been designed for extreme endurance without any human intervention. It is equipped with on-board supercomputer system architecture with AI for auto management control, radars, anti-collision systems, satellite, GPS navigation systems, 360-degree cameras, ultrasound and laser sensors, etc. These technologies allow for this vessel to operate autonomously, any interruption or manual operation can be done through an onshore control center. The real time control center would be able to monitor this vessel by a remote link, carry out diagnostics, or deploy maintenance staff for further inspections and maintenance.
Too bad there are no viable Fusion reactors and the boat doesn't have a way of loading cargo
Lockheed-Martin, Started a Fusion Development System for the US Army in 15 October 2014. For the Army's 20 to 32-MJ Rail Gun Artillery System. Projected Date for an Operational Ones, is expected in 2025 but Probably Not Before 2035. After All, We Are Talking About "Lockmart"…
Use Thorium reactors for power, more fuel around for. Awesome idea
