A house for all seasons, D*Dynamic transforms itself dynamically based on season, meteorological and astronomical conditions. The inspiration came from Henry Dudeney, an English mathematician, discovery that a square can transform itself into an equilateral triangle, thus making D*Dynamic a house that is able to transform itself into 8 different configurations. The flexibility of this house allows adaptation from winter to summer, or a day to a night by moving inside itself, literally. Those thick external walls unfold into internal walls, allowing glass internal walls become facades. It’s amazing how doors become windows and windows become doors, pretty amazing.
Inside you’ll find 2 bedrooms, open plan living room and bathroom. All these rooms can be adapted to suit different living situations. You can set to make the house change its shape seasonally or from night to morning, you can rotate the house to constantly face sunlight in order to generate energy through its solar panels. The concept of D*Dynamic certainly takes architecture to another level.
