João Teixeira has tasked by Curve Lab to design Flexy Junior Bed. It’s a modern bed with adaptable feature, it’s flexibility makes it ideal for growing kids and family. This concept is designed based on modular solution that allows user to easily interchange between single, loft, or bunk bed simply by using certain pieces along the process. Simple and minimal, this design language is a referral to Montessori philosophy while those curved and rounded shapes provide more safety for the children.

Flexy Junior Bed by João Teixeira features unique legs with protruding detail that embraces the bed frame then locks it into place. Those legs can be shorter for single bed but they can be extended to support a top bed or even used as structural element and ladder at the same time. The outer bed frame is intentionally built out of four components to make it easy to adapt to different scenarios.
