A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Minute Repeater delivers sound on demand. A low-pitched tone is sounded for each elapsed hour, a double tone is sounded for each elapsed ten-minute period, while a high-pitched tone is sounded for each elapsed minute. The acoustic time indication becomes even richer with an individual, expressive sound, the acoustic characteristics are coming from honey-gold alloy of the case. This elegant and sophisticated timepiece is capable to produce a lucid, reverberant sound with a rich and warm timbre.
Zeitwerk Minute Repeater comes with a unique button mechanism to trigger the repeater. The power needed is delivered by twin mainspring barrel, therefore, there’s no need for a slide, this is common in minute repeaters to tension a separate spring. To make sure flawless interaction of this complex mechanical ensemble, there were elaborate mechanism integrated in the interior of the watch.
