Aston Martin x Brough Superior AMB 001 Pro Track Superbike Produces Similar Horsepower to a Formula 1 Car

Unveiled at EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show, Aston Martin x Brough Superior AMB 001 Pro is a limited-edition EV as the result of collaboration between two iconic brands. This 997cc track only superbike was inspired by Aston Martin’s Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar, it combines Aston Martin’s legendary design with Brough Superior motorcycle engineering. That’s why this motorcycle also takes track performance to the extreme, but with more 25% power increase than its predecessor. It generates 225 HP that produces a power to weight ratio of 1.28 hp/kg, similar to a Formula One Car.

The power of Aston Martin x Brough Superior AMB 001 Pro makes it enter the hyperbike category. The new engine type together with a crankcase fully machined from solid billet aluminum, it provides a unique feature for a production motorcycle. This hyperbike is the result when you try to push something to the very edge and do it seamlessly, it wants to deliver a breathless experience. Through learnings from the AMB 001, the new AMB 001 Pro takes track excitement to the extreme, the power increase comes from a new CNC-machine, dual-cylinder 997cc engine that’s been fully machined from AL 5000 solid billet. At the moment, AMB 001 Pro is still at the prototype stage, displayed to visitors of EICMA alongside with Valkyrie AMR Pro. However, the company has already taken orders, and the first deliveries will place in 2023.
