Yamaha Motor has revealed its AI-inspired superbike which is featured in Netflix’s Tokyo Override. Dubbed as Yamaha Y/AI, this superbike demonstrates Yamaha’s future vision of an AI-integrated motorcycle perhaps something 100 years in the future. The design features spokeless, glow in the dark tires, and hidden engine, this sci-fi motorcycle is designed for the future, a blend of style and technology that you’ve never seen before. It looks like Yamaha has teamed up with Netflix to feature their futuristic motorcycles in the anime series Tokyo Override, that’s why Yamaha also produced a full-scale model for display at the Motor Expo 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Yamaha Y/AI Concept Superbike comes with semi-transparent wheels that emits a laser blue light as the rider cruises the streets. The engine is located in the attached bridge, hidden safely inside while this bridge connects the two wheels, delivering minimalist aesthetic. Even though it’s only a concept, but it has been realized as a full-scale model, which means, there’s high possibility of producing this concept into real world. In not-so-distant future, automation will be integrated in our everyday life, including vehicles. Yamaha Y/AI will play an important role, it cruises around futuristic city with its minimalist body, two front forks, and sharply dropped tail, the geometric design creates radical look, aggressive yet sleek.
