Inspired by the power of sound, Volca Speaker features protrusions on the body and grooves that evoke the power of sound. Once the song plays, it seems that the sound is so powerful and makes the shell move, creating grooves on the body. Just like an occurrence of an active volcano where there’s high power of the molten material that causes the mountain to crack and that molten material erupts.
Volca Speaker by Esmail Ghadrdani is made of matte plastic with tactile buttons. It has a USB and Bluetooth connection, it’s possible to use it as a portable device. It also turns into a nightlight with two different colors, creating strong emotional connection with the user.
