It’s a headset-style device that fuses conversational AI technology, object recognition sensors and cameras, as well as open-ear bone conduction technology. Designed by In Je Lee, the headset features simple and minimalist design, it accommodates visually impaired people who rely heavily on their sense of touch. Furthermore, users who are not fully blind will benefit high-visibility colors feature from this device. Instead of using conventional USB port found in many headsets that require precise alignment for insertion, Vision Bone features magnetic charging system that automatically connects through magnetic force when the charger is brought closer to the device.
The dial system adjusts to fit user’s size, simply rotate it in the direction indicated by braille on the dial. Press that groove located at the center of the dial to reset to original position. The smart AI technology identifies objects and sends this information audibly to the user for better awareness, at the same time, it is capable to create conversational feedback to enhance user’s daily life. It’s more than just a navigation device, it serves as a companion and a guardian.
