Project EVO is a stunning concept superyacht that features lovely lines and gorgeous shapes where you can sense the blend of experienced owner ideas with a dream team of exterior designers. It’s a project that promises an EVO-lution, a fully custom 40-meter superyacht that represents the talents of SFG Yacht Design, Fancy by Dada, Cristiano Gatto Design, Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects. EVO Superyacht is the largest creation of Van der Valk to date in terms of length and volume, the yacht also allows the design team to showcase their skills across every discipline of carpentry, metalwork, engineering, painting, and interior designs.
Designed for his family, Project EVO Superyacht has been extended several meters during a design and consultation process that involved the clients every step of the way. Inspired by attractive design from Franco Gianni of SFG Yacht Design and Doga Naz Cebeci from Fancy by Dada, the owners want to make sure that EVO can leverage on some specific furniture design concepts with aesthetic flavour that was then added to the exterior design to further evolve the DNA of preliminary concept.
Project EVO from Van der Valk would have a top speed of 24 knot, this all-aluminum cruiser comes with a round-bilged fast displacement hull. Seriously sleek, the exterior is complemented by an equally detailed interior. It took around ten months from first interior renders to finally complete. The first class accommodations are designed for 10, including a main deck master and two twin guests suits, two VIPs on the lower deck, plus eight crew. This yacht is built based on existing engineered platform that’s been proven in naval architecture, it means that clients can easily come to Van der Valk with their own exterior design without having to have knowledge about yacht but they can be sure, the result will excel in terms of speed, performance, and safety.
