Top Five Winners of GoFly Phase II Competition – Futuristic VTOL Personal Flying Vehicle Concepts

GoFly is a competition with specific goal to design safe, quiet, ultra-compact, VTOL personal flying vehicle. This is a Boeing-sponsored competition that aims to push boundaries of innovation, engineering, and transportation. There are five winners of GoFly Challenge Phase II where each team has been awarded with $50,000 in prizes. GoFly community consists of more than 3,500 innovators from more than 100 countries around the world. These innovators have submitted their entries for review by a panel of experts through two rounds of rigorous judging.

There’s something unique in this competition, for the first time, physical prototypes were introduced into the challenge. It is the first crucial step that has brought us closer to the Final Fly-Off.
