The designer of this watch worked very closely with Tokyo railway company, Odakyu, in order to get the perfect detail for the watch display. The result is, a unique watch with high quality LCD panel as reproduction of electric sign boards on the train platform of three stations: Shinjuku station, Fujisawa station, and Machida station.
Train Line Watch from Tokyoflash features always-on LCD panel, but when you press the button, it’ll light up with bright colored backlighting. The digital numbers display the time of the day at the top right of the screen, you can press the button twice to set this watch to display the date. Unfortunately, it seems that you need to be able to read Kanji to able to take advantage of this watch information.
