Threefold has been designed as a semester project to provide you with foldable furniture for picnic. It’s like having a mat, a stool, a lounger, or even a table in one product. Classic picnic blanket is not enough anymore, it provides just little comfort as temporary seating option. However this blanket can’t support group of people who can’t sit on the ground. So, here comes Threefold.
Nick Potter and Jonas Finkeldei teamed up to create Threefold that would provide you with a nice platform to hangout and relax during an outdoor picnic. It adapts to individual’s need, a stool to sit, a lounger to relax close to the ground, a bed mat to sleep, or a table for eating. Threefold also folds away to a compact square form when not in use, it also makes it easy to transport.
