The New Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition

Back in 2009 when Mate Rimac started his company, they were told not to bother building a car company in Croatia, because it was impossible. Yet, in 2011, he set a whole host of world records in a self-converted all-electric BMW based on 1984 3-series. Then in 2018, Rimac Automobili released world’s first all-electric hypercar with performance that the world said could never be achieved. That car became Nevera three years later, it has become a record-breaking hypercar, delivering a whole new performance experience. Now, 15 years later, Rimac wants to celebrate achieving the impossible with limited edition of Rimac Nevera: 15th Anniversary Edition.

Available in only 9 units, the first car will be finished in a new shade of copper, releasing matte paintwork on the Nevera for the first time. This copper shade is specifically developed for its connections not only with times of celebration but also for more practical application. The new full visible carbon fiber split creates a striking gloss contrast both in texture and in color.

Each unit of Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition will be connected through significant features, including that exclusive dual-color alloy wheel design. It will have 15 Years Anniversary badging and distinctive Rimac pattern that represents the connections of a circuit board running the length of the car. Inside the car, you will be exposed with copper anodized switchgear and copper-painted surfaces to complement its celebratory exterior. This special edition is also marked by one-of-nine and “2009-2024” script on the armrest, the cabin can be finished in bold black or pristine white while the seats feature a contrasting copper leather and “15” embossed into the headrests.

Mate Rimac claims that Rimac Nevera is the most powerful production car in the world. The key to its speed is its advanced battery system, powertrain, and software, all of them are developed exclusively in-house at the Rimac Group. The front and rear powertrains provide power to each wheel individually. At the rear, a 1MW dual inverter enables 900Nm and 450kW per motor, while an entirely bespoke front powertrain is designed to deliver optimum power and control. All systems are overseen by a complex web of in-house developed electronic control units, working in conjunction with an NVIDIA Pegasus-based supercomputer to calculate and send output to the four powertrain systems 100 times a second. Priced at €2,350,000, Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition will make its debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
