This green building represents the harmony of trees and building where the city is metamorphosing into a vertical, green, dense, and hyper-connected ecosystem. It’s an innovative architecture design where the main goal here is to raise awareness of green architecture to fight global warming to maintain our beautiful Earth for future generation.

The Gate Residence features solar roof covering different areas from shopping area, green terraces, and some part of the complex. It’s an ambitious project that tries to harness sun’s energy and maximizes its potential, the roof also provides shadow when necessary to reduce the need in mechanical ventilation.
This building would house more than 1000 apartments, commercial areas, and offices. It would be the landmark in New Cairo, an urban oasis which would be enjoyed by local people and tourists. The building is refined by the softening of all edges with “U” shapes where the facades of 9 housing floors are designed like a horizontal sedimentation of e-low glass and polished white stone. Those facades are inspired by the fish gills and act as sunshades for its residents. There are linear steel hollow joints all around to create an elegant appearance of the building. Each balcony is transformed into suspended gardens, creating green cascades falling in each courtyards.
