Simple and practical, THAT STOOL is a DIY stool design proposal for an e-commerce brand that seeks to provide user with simple and easy-to-assemble home objects. The idea was to design simple yet appealing products that consists of few components which can be easily assembled by the user.
THAT STOOL features a seat and four legs made out of wood, it also has two metal tubbing structures for better support to the stool. Each leg can be connected to metal structures by using cap nuts screwed onto the threaded end of each tube.
Designed by Alondra Elizalde, THAT STOOL is a home product with good packaging design. It offers solution where user can have their product in a compact format, reducing the shipping cost while protecting the components safely at all times. The use of corrugated cardboard box can be utilized for branding along with assembly instructions.
