Inspired by best-selling video game of all times, Tetris, these designers decided to come up with unique bookcase in the shape of it. It’s more like DIY furniture where user can enjoy the freedom to form their own bookcase to suit their needs. It’s a simple furniture design with a complex internal structure, consisting of multiple cabinets, small and big. Those small cabinets use the semantics of Tetris, user can place different shapes and color blocks into the large cabinet, they can also be removed just like a small storage box.

Bruce Tao, Zichen Liu, and Qianzi Wang chose to use aluminum alloy due to its strength and stiffness while being lightweight. This material has reliable strength with good processing performance and thermal conductivity. It’s a flexible bookcase with plenty of storage that user can conveniently arrange the shelves to accommodate their books and decoration.
