Surgo 4×4 off-road concept vehicle is specially designed for mountain rescue services. The design is the result of extensive research and surveys with help from GOPR and TOPR rescuers. The brief was to dig deeper to find most crucial intervention issues, existing solutions, and the possibility of improvements.
Surgo requires custom designed suspension that is designed and prototyped by Automotive Industry Institute in Warsaw. This suspension is the main point of this vehicle construction that allows unprecedented off-road capabilities. This vehicle has the ability to lock entire body in shifted position, it features additional springs and shock absorbers, approach and departure angles nearing 90-degrees. Those are just some of special features that would allow Surgo to travel through extreme, rough terrain.
2Sympleks has designed the cabin interior to accommodate up to 8 rescuers and 2 wounded on stretchers for safety reason. Surgo 4×4 off-road concept vehicle offers robust construction, it uses durable materials and hard surfaces, it is well fitted to deal with dirt, moisture, or any mechanical stresses since those issues are inevitable during rescue actions.
