SURGO 4X4 Mountain Rescue Vehicle Offers Off-Road Capabilities with Unprecedented Performance Features

Surgo 4×4 off-road concept vehicle is specially designed for mountain rescue services. The design is the result of extensive research and surveys with help from GOPR and TOPR rescuers. The brief was to dig deeper to find most crucial intervention issues, existing solutions, and the possibility of improvements.

Surgo requires custom designed suspension that is designed and prototyped by Automotive Industry Institute in Warsaw. This suspension is the main point of this vehicle construction that allows unprecedented off-road capabilities. This vehicle has the ability to lock entire body in shifted position, it features additional springs and shock absorbers, approach and departure angles nearing 90-degrees. Those are just some of special features that would allow Surgo to travel through extreme, rough terrain.
